Principal

Danielle Battle brings over two decades of experience in education, leadership, and community engagement to her role as Principal of Shroder Middle School. She holds a Master’s in Secondary Education from Xavier University, Principal Licensure from the University of Cincinnati, and is certified in Secondary School Administration and biological sciences.
At Shroder Middle School, Danielle is expanding career exploration opportunities through the school’s Career Connections course and reinforced partnerships such as Adopt A Class, while strengthening Tier 1 and Tier 2 instruction and broadening restorative practices and SEL supports. She has launched Community Learning Days, a signature initiative that brings community partners into the school to create shared, real-world learning experiences. Under her leadership, student engagement, community involvement, and schoolwide coherence have significantly increased.
Danielle previously served as Principal of Cincinnati Public Schools’ Promise Center and Assistant Principal at Withrow University High School. Earlier in her career, she taught science at Western Hills High School and Hughes STEM High School and supported college readiness as a Gear-Up academic tutor at the University of Cincinnati.
Deeply committed to the Cincinnati community, Danielle has built partnerships with more than 20 organizations to support students and families. Her work consistently centers on equity, youth voice, and creating learning environments where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
